（中央社記者黃名璽聖多明哥市13日電）總統馬英九今天參訪友邦多明尼加聖路易斯兒童中心，致贈小球員們棒球球具，而小球員知道日前發生在台灣的八仙塵爆意外，也回贈馬總統簽名布條表達關心toefl補習班與祝福。
馬總統11日率團展開「久揚專案」，出訪多明尼加、海地及尼加拉瓜等友邦；當地時間13日下午馬總統抵達多明尼加後，參訪位於較貧窮區域的聖路易斯兒童中心時，除參觀中心內的硬體設施，也換上棒球衣變身投手，小試身手投了兩球。
馬總統投完球後，送給聖多明哥省棒球聯盟的小球員棒球球具，而這些小球員則回贈一個「關懷宣言」的簽名布條，除了小球員一一簽名，包括省長、縣市長及眾議員等線上英文比較都簽字，對八仙塵爆意外事件傷患，表達關心與祝福之意，小朋友們也數度高喊「台灣加油」。
官員表示，兒童中心的小朋友及兒童中心的推手、多國參議院議長黎莎朵對八仙塵爆意外事件表示關切，希望意外受到傷害的年輕朋友能早日康復。
馬總統明天將赴多國總統府，接受隆重軍禮歡迎，並與多國總統梅迪納（Danilo Medina）個別會談，梅迪納將贈勳給馬總統。
